Spring 2020

As a member of PACE, your district can send one individual to our drone training program at no cost (a $1,500 value).

This one day, 8-hour training covers all topics required to pass the written test for FAA Remote Pilot Certification. The remote pilot certificate is required to act as pilot in command of a small unmanned aircraft system, also known as a drone, for any purpose other than as a hobby.

No prior aviation knowledge is necessary.

In this class you will receive everything you need to get started including a study book, current aeronautical chart, airport facility directory, sample checklist, and a practice test with actual FAA exam questions. Two weeks prior to the class, attendees will be provided with study materials that will need to be reviewed before attending this training. You will leave the class ready to schedule and pass your FAA Part 107 license exam.

Attendees will receive real world, practical tools that can be used for every flight including operational safety. You will leave the class ready to schedule and pass your FAA Part 107 license exam. Class size will be limited to 10 students which allows for a great atmosphere for small group work and opportunities for one-on-one conversations with a drone expert. Your instructor is an FAA Certified Flight Instructor with over 20 years of commercial aviation experience.
