PACE is hosting its first ever Community College Training Day! This free, virtual event will be solely dedicated to the needs and interests of our PACE community college members.

Adverse Employment Separation

You have found yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to part ways with a staff member. What is the recommended process? When might a resignation agreement be the best course of action and how do recent statutory changes limit an employer’s ability to include certain terms in a resignation agreement? OSBA/PACE attorneys discuss tips and tricks to limit the college’s liability with respect to adverse employment separations.
