Board Appoints PACE Trustees

March 14, 2006 - The OSBA Board approved the agreement to form the new Property and Casualty Coverage for Education (PACE) Trust at the March 3 meeting. On July 1, OSBA-PACT and Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) will merge accounts to form Oregon’s largest property/casualty insurance pool of school entities.

The OSBA Board appointed the following nine members as trustees:

Craig Roessler, superintendent, Silver Falls; Kathy Neal, board member, Umatilla-Morrow ESD; Phil Wentz, facilities manager, Tigard-Tualatin; and Allen Bunch, risk manager, Chemeketa Community College.

Nominated by SDAO: Tim Belanger, business manager, Oregon Trail SD; John Rexford, assistant superintendent, Bend-LaPine; Gary Richter, risk manager, North Clackamas SD; David Horner, business manager, McMinnville; and Courtney Wilton, vice president, College Services, Clackamas Community College.
