FENTANYL RESOURCES
The Beaverton School District sponsored a fentanyl awareness campaign in April 2021, entitled “Fake & Fatal: One Pill Can Kill.” We promoted resources on our district website. We did a social media blitz. Our administrators and staff received specific fentanyl training. We hosted a virtual “Community Conversation about Fentanyl: Fake & Fatal” which was viewed by over 6,500 people. And we developed Fentanyl-specific lessons for all our secondary students to receive in their health classes.
This message is critically important for students and parents/guardians to hear.

Empty Building Inspection Tips
Currently we are all dealing with COVID-19 and the need to be away from or limit access to buildings. During this time, it is important to regularly check on buildings to be sure it is safe and ready for school. Same issues, for instance leaking pipes, can cause damage and even shut down a classroom or a building. Unoccupied buildings may also allow for maintenance and custodial staff to work in the facility. Be sure to have proper authorization from Administration to do the work.
UNOCCUPIED BUILDING INSPECTION TIPS
AGRIP has also posted this great guide to protecting your empty buildings during COVID-19, and even more tips on making sure you are preventing as much damage as possible during this critical time.
