PACE recommends: Title IX Training for Colleges
The Department of Education recently released the new Title IX regulations on April 19, 2024, which will replace the Final Rule on Title IX released in May 2020.
As colleges and universities quickly review and adjust to these new regulations, it is essential for them to understand the significant changes around sexual discrimination and harassment.
Join Vector Solutions and Rebecca Veidlinger, Title IX and campus sexual misconduct expert, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, for a discussion on these new requirements and what colleges and universities need to implement before the start of the 2024-25 academic year.

With Oregon schools facing the most challenging budget season in more than a decade, districts are preparing reduction-in-force notices as part of cutting costs. Many school board members are new to the process, and staff from OSBA and PACE planned a free, one-hour webinar to provide guidance and answer your questions. We addressed legal implications, policy considerations, best communication practices, and how your legislative advocacy over the coming year can create better outcomes for students through sustained, adequate school funding.
In this free webinar, PACE attorneys gave an in-depth look at the arcane world of handling complaints, and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Child sexual abuse is a pervasive societal problem. It is also one of the more uncomfortable conversations that need to happen not only in society, but in educational settings as well. This webinar training will discuss statistics, the grooming process, how to spot a predator in the context of institutions, and how to help prevent sexual abuse from occurring in your school.
“Because of societal taboos, for many years we’ve faced an uphill battle in reporting grooming behaviors that place young people in harm’s way,” says PACE Administrator Dave Harvey. “As a society we need to do better, and as an institution PACE is committed to leading the way.”
