Public Meetings Grievance Procedure

 

 

If you believe that the Oregon School Boards Association has violated the Oregon Public Meetings Law, you may deliver a written grievance in-person during regular business hours to 1201 Court ST NE STE 400, Salem, OR 97301; or via first class mail to the same address, attention to the PACE Administrative Assistant; or via email, attention to the PACE Administrative Assistant, at [email protected].

 

The written grievance shall be submitted to OSBA within 30 calendar days from the date of the meeting where the alleged violation occurred. The written grievance shall identify:

 

(a) The governing body that allegedly violated the Public Meetings Law;
(b) The date of the meeting where the alleged violation occurred;
(c) The specific facts and circumstances that the person asserts amount to a violation of the Public Meetings Law;
(d) The date of the grievance; and
(e) The name and contact information of the person submitting the grievance.
